Registration for ACEP 2019 is Now Closed

Watch this page for more information about next year's program.

The FREE Central Colorado AHEC Career Exploration Program is here! High school sophomores and juniors interested in healthcare careers will be a part of a self-paced 10 session weekly webinar series occurring from 2/11-4/15 that will help them identify their specific interests and explore a plethora of different careers. Students who successfully complete all webinar sessions will be eligible for a week-long, expenses-paid summer camp experience at CU Boulder from July 21 to July 27. Some of the webinar topics include: “Financing Your Education”, “Understanding Public Health”, “Understanding Mental and Behavioral Health” and more. Students will be able to access the webinars on their own schedule every week and Central Colorado AHEC staff will have “office hours” bi-weekly, as well as being available via email for more in-depth information and mentoring. In addition to the weekly webinars, students will interact with other students from across the metro region at two in-person experiences at healthcare facilities and participate in hands-on simulations (cadaver lab).
