Hot Issues in Health

December 6 - December 7

Hot Issues in Health is Colorado’s premier health policy forum. Hosted by the nonpartisan Colorado Health Institute, the event has convened the state’s leading thinkers to discuss pressing issues related to health and health care for nearly 20 years.

Hot Issues brings together a diverse crowd of state legislators, regional and local policymakers, representatives from insurance carriers and health systems, consumer advocates, health care providers, researchers, students and journalists. With a consequential election involving many state offices coming this November, the 2018 event promises to offer a crucial opportunity for discussion and learning.

There are many good reasons to be part of this event. Here are the top four:

  1. It’s where you’ll find the Colorado leaders who care about health policy.
  2. The nation’s leading health policy thinkers from varying political perspectives regularly appear as keynote speakers, bringing insight and updates from the front lines.
  3. New ideas and new connections flourish in the meeting rooms, hallways and social times at Hot Issues in Health.
  4. Colorado Health Institute experts present their latest research, giving attendees a head start on solving the trickiest health policy problems.

A high-level conference agenda is available on our website.

A limited number of scholarships is available, with preference given to those with significant financial need who represent rural-based, minority-led, and nonprofit organizations.

We hope you can join us. For more information, visit the Colorado Health Institute website. Should you have any questions, please email HIHC@coloradohealthinstitute.org or call 720-382-7088.
